Couldn’t recommend enough
Positive: What a stunning place, it was super modern, spacious, comfortable and well laid out, with all the facilities you could need or think of. Perfect for our group of 6, it absolutely made our weekend away! Wish we could stay longer and everyone we showed our little video tour to asked for the link. The phrases “dream house” and “best holiday cottage I’ve ever stayed in” were thrown around. Couldn’t recommend more and the owners seem lovely.
Negative: Everything to do is quite far away but it was perfect for driving to some lesser known hikes, and honestly we chose to stay in for the evening instead of going out, it’s just so nice.

Beautiful house, beautiful surroundings, lots to do nearby, great hosts.
Positive: It felt like Lesley and John had really thought through everything that might possibly be needed. Nestled in the bedroom cupboard, there was a little Tupperware “in case you forgot” container filled with toothbrush, toothpaste and other little necessities. Open the fridge and there’s some milk waiting. On the side, tea, coffee and a variety of snacks etc.
The house itself was stunning and very comfortable - we have since asked the hosts where they bought their beds since they were much more comfortable than our own at home!
Lesley and John were incredibly helpful and friendly, sorting out any queries as they arose - and even welcoming my husband into their quiz team at the pop-up pub night taking place in the Myddfai community cafe nearby.
The surroundings were beautiful - we saw large numbers of red kite from the windows and a number of the planets from the garden in the dark starry night. We could have spent a lot longer there and hope to return in the near future.
Negative: Nothing that we can think of.

A wonderful stay and the owners were charming. Couldn’t have been more helpful or proactive.
Positive: Very well appointed and clean. Well designed and beautifully quiet
It’s in a great location for exploring the western beacons, or just getting away from the crowds.
Negative: Nothing

Negative: Couldn’t fault a thing!

Fantastic place, lovely and welcoming host, this place is perfect for ideal holiday.
Positive: Lesley & John were amazing hosts, very friendly & welcoming, communication was superb (thanks for the tip about pop up village hall pub).
House is just amazing, beautifully decorated with plenty of space and super, super clean. All bedrooms were big with very comfortable beds, kitchen is massive with all the utensils and big family table.
It is located in a country side with beautiful views, but close to the to town of Llandovery, which has pubs/restaurants, shops, petrol station etc. It offers easy access to the heart of Brecon Beacons National Park.
Fireplace and football table were cherries on the cake.
We all loved this place and definitely come back in the future with families.
Negative: Place is just perfect.
