Stunning apartment Positive: View, easy to find, almost everything you needed Negative: Not that we expected tea & coffee to be there tbh but since it was a small pint of milk maybe just to be able to have a quick cuppa after arrival from travelling

Would stay here again, due to the location of the property. Nice apt had everything we needed for a 3 night stay away Positive: Right on the beachfront, lovely view Private parking Negative: The 55 stairs to get to the apt with all your luggage. Windows were screwed shut, couldn’t even open a few inches, was a fan in the room but had no effect.

Tidy, genuine! Positive: The location was fantastic, right opposite Marco's café and the beach. 3 minutes walk to Barry island train station (£3ish for a single to Cardiff, takes half hour ish). The hosts we're great with communication and the apartment itself was much bigger than it looks in the photos and has everything you could possibly need, a real home from home so you can leave the washing up liquid and tin foil at home 😉. The bed has had a few negative reviews but it was lovely for us, very comfortable. Views from the apartment front and back are beautiful. We would absolutely stay again! Check in and out was easy too lots of information before we arrived which was very useful. Do not hesitate to book this apartment it's just perfect! Negative: I have mobility issues but was aware of the stairs in advance due to previous reviews. There are 6 flights of stairs from the car park, 4 from the main road which sounds a lot but they are in batches of 8 steps at a time and space to stop on every level of needed. This may be an issue for some but it's so worth taking your time for this gorgeous apartment!

The towels had an unpleasant smell, and the bed was very uncomfortable. I paid £220 for the stay and an additional £200 as a deposit. Shortly after, I received a message stating I would be charged £270 for a cleaning fee, which I disputed, only to be charged £80 for standard cleaning afterward.
