Family-Friendly Retreat between Beach & Mountains

Needs a lot of maintenance a deep clean property isn’t as described Positive: Location was nice Negative: We arrived to a leak in the bathroom which was pretty bad and we had to keep mopping it up . Huge crack through the wall to the ceiling . There was no oven gloves ? Which is a breach in health and safety . Someone was supposed to dropp some off but never did . The vacuum is broken . The wallpaper above the electrical switches in the bedroom was falling off . The bins were full and not out our from last customers so we had to use a local recycle place . The cleanliness of the property was very poor we ended up cleaning it our selves after going out and purchasing sponges clothes antibacterial spray as the property didn’t have any at all . The sofas are old and tired and could do with a really good clean . The fire and dust tray were full from the previous guests with conifer twigs left for kindling there was no fire starter pack at all . There are bits of plaster board missing exposing the nails underneath in bedrooms . Having to have two people come out and review the property whilst away was not ideal . The towel rail in the bathroom was full Of plaster dust from when the house was renovated so you couldn’t put towels on the rails . The mould around the bottom of the shower trays and doors is pretty grim too . They sent a poor lady out to clean a single radiator when so much more needed doing ! Absolute waste of time

An enjoyable stay Positive: We loved our stay and the property has everything you need. Well maintained, Spacious and clean, quiet. Great location, 10mins walk to black rock sands beach and good location to explore wider afield. Comfy beds, powerful and hot showers/bath. Thanks for the milk and Prosecco in the fridge on arrival, Good communication on booking messenger before the visit. Negative: minor issues/personal preferences: Bath towels are a little on the small side No mirror in second double bedroom Sofa probably needs some love soon- worn down and stained A quick welcome guide would be useful- heres how everything works/where it is. (Lights what switches work what, external heaters, if things trip, laundry room, local area, local transport) Aside from the appliance manuals no quick start guide - quite common in rental properties/airbnb Albeit with small minor challenges wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Thanks for a great break.

Positive: The accommodation is superb. Everything is finished to a high standard. Very clean. Lovely touches like milk in the fridge and prosecco! I had great communication with the team before my stay and loved the guide explaining everything from the accommodation to nearby beaches etc. The house is a great base for north wales and perfect for Portmeirion. We visited Portmeirion, Snowdon, Barmouth and Caernarfon. I would definitely recommend this accommodation. Negative: Only slight problem, and this seems really picky- we couldn't get the dishwasher to clean properly but that is such a minor problem.

The bungalow really made our holiday extra special. We will be booking again ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Positive: Beautiful property. Very comfortable. Real home from home vibe. Very clean and well maintained. Lovely outside space. Great communication too. We had 2 elderly and disabled people in our party and the place was very accessible and ideal for them. Negative: There was nothing we didn’t like!
